Sand blasting is used to remove paint or powder coat and also rust from parts.

This process gets the part back to bare metal which can give a good idea of the condition of a part and any repairs that may need doing.

It also gives a good start to make repairs to steel frames and swing arms as all paint and rust needs to be removed before welding  can start.
