vapour blasting

Vapour blasting is another method to remove certain coatings or surface rust.

It is not as harsh as sand blasting and is particularly good at bringing old alloy parts like engine cases, carbs, yokes etc back to life.

If no real corrosion has damaged the surface of the part clear anodising can be used after vapour blasting to produce a factory look.

This is particularly useful on items where colour cannot be used to disguise any issues like yokes, brake levers etc.
