anodising
Many aluminium parts can be anodised in many different colours.

The finish of the anodising process is entirely dependant on the quality of the part to be treated.
This means that on older parts where oxidisation has taken place this needs to be dealt with first.
Ideally the part should look like new albeit in a bare metal form with no colour.
A clear finish can also be achieved to give the standard factory finish whilst still protecting the part and giving a desired gloss, matt or satin finish.
