powder coating
Many parts are better off powder coated than painted.

Powder coating gives the part a thicker finish and is especially good on slightly rougher surfaces where it smooths out the finished result.
Cast hubs and wheels as in the pictures show the finish that can be achieved.
As the finish is thicker its also quite good at wear points of a motorcycle. The finish can also be slightly soft and is pretty good at suppressing stone chips, although you will see the stone chips they don’t chip the coating off allowing bare metal beneath to oxidise.
This is especially useful when its an off road bike as stone chips and boot rub are common problems for paintwork.

Any parts for powder coating usually need to be sand blasted prior to coating.
This need not be done before we receive anything to be powder coated as it can be included in the whole process.
